Vision

Since 2010 CSCE has adopted as its Vision:  Leadership in Sustainable Infrastructure.  This Vision is reflected in all aspects of CSCE's activities and is exemplified by the CSCE Award for Governmental Leadership in Sustainable Infrastructure which will be presented for the first time at the CSCE Annual Conference in Edmonton in 2012.

Mission

The Canadian Society for Civil Engineering promotes the profession of civil engineering in Canada and the development, acquisition and exchange of professional knowledge within the field of civil engineering.

History

Founded in 1887 by prominent Civil Engineers in Canada, the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE) is a learned society intended to enhance the public image of the civil engineering profession and to develop and maintain high standards of civil engineering practice in Canada.
